Designed to keep you safe

COVID NOTICE:

To help keep everyone at ease during COVID surges, we offer private, full office appointments at no additional charge. You’ll have peace of mind knowing it’s just you, your family, and our caring staff.

CALL 415-329-6780 to request a private booking.

Mt Tam Pediatric Dentistry was planned and built to ensure your little ones receive high quality dental care within an environment that features the latest protocols and modern technologies to help keep you and your family safe.

The protective precautions taken by our office to decrease exposure risk to COVID-19 and other viruses include:

  • Each member of the team has received full COVID-19 vaccination

  • Verbal screening of patients & staff for known or suspected exposure to COVID-19, as well as for fever, cough, or respiratory symptoms.

  • Temperature checks for all staff and patients upon entering our office.

  • Requiring all patients (and their family members 3 years+) to wear masks while in the office.

  • Elevated mask protocol for all staff, including N95 mask and eye/face protection in situations when patients must remove mask.

  • Requiring all staff and patients to sanitize their hands immediately upon entering the clinic.

  • Spaced out appointment times to allow for social distancing, proper disinfection, as well as in-office air changes

  • Enhanced in-office air purification via in-office Molekule air purifiers, open windows, and an updated HVAC system. In combination, these efforts effectively exchange in-office air in a matter of minutes.

  • Practicing and requiring proper hand hygiene with alcohol-based hand sanitizer or soap-and-water.

  • Proper disinfection at the beginning and end of each day (in addition to between appointments).

Additionally, we ask that families do their part to help protect the Mt Tam Pediatric Dentistry staff and patients by wearing a mask and practicing proper hand hygiene. Additionally, please cancel your appointment if you or any of your family members develop any of the following symptoms, or if you or any of your family members have had a known contact with COVID prior to or the day of your treatment:

  • Fever or Malaise

  • Cough, Chest Pain, Shortness of Breath

  • Sneezing or Runny Nose

  • COVID-19 contact

And while Dr. Stephanie and the Mt Tam Pediatric Dentistry team are taking protective precautions, please remember that the risk of COVID-19 exposure can be mitigated but cannot be eliminated. You could be exposed to COVID-19 while at our office and infection could cause serious health problems with you, a member of your household, or anyone else with whom you come in contact.

Thank you to all of the Tam Families for all your support and cooperation. We look forward to seeing your smiles soon!

Dr. Stephanie Hardwick
